Good news is I will have my pwr steering back this year. Bad news is the Dragon will be closed. Maybe, just maybe they might be nice and open it up for us. Guess we will find out when we get there.

Well after a very busy and another well Motored Dragon we have all made it back. The weather was great, I think this was the first year we had more sun than rain . Although after the Dragon the skys ripped open above TN as you have probably heard. The Dragon was opened from 8a.m. to 8p.m. everyday and was under the constant survailence of the TN Highway Patrol. (Who made their share of money over the weekend from alot of innocent MINI owners.) You could still pull off some pretty great runs though since there was no through traffic . I put about 2,000 mls on the MC40 partially due to the Detour from the closed Dragon and since I took a day trip out to Nashville . There were the vendors there again w/ Detroit Tuned & Helix doing installs. Along w/ Outmotoring and several others selling MINI swag and products to keep the MINI looking new and running new. A new event was the MINI Kareokee Party, which was absolutly hilarious . And of course in MOTD tradition we had another MINI go off course. The front end was wiped off and the right rear found its way against a tree. With help from Helix I believe they were able to get it fixed so the owner was able to drive it home, you bring enough spare parts anything is possible . So there's the brief recap and hopfully next year we can look forward to the great weather and the Road should be open again.
